Gold Mineral Body Wrap
Spa-goers at San Francisco's Spa Radiance took as good as gold after the decadent Gold Mineral Body Wrap ($235, 90 minutes). First, a dry brush exfoliation increases circulation. Then, using products from Germaine de Capuccini, which are infused with nourishing and mineral-rich algae from Frances Brittany region, the hydrating head-to-toe sessions begins with a full-body application of shimmering gold serum. Clients are then wrapped in warm blankets, allowing the serums marine-bases minerals and skin-softening macadamia nut oil to penetrate the skin. During this time, guest enjoy a pressure-point massage using volcanic ash sachets. Following the massage, the serum is removed, revealing soft, silky skin. This particular golden algae is packed with potent healing minerals and vitamins E, C, D and B-complex, says Spa Radiance owner Angelina Umansky.
